Meet the Experts
behind Luvra Aesthetics
Julie Luu is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in aesthetic medicine, known for her refined, natural approach to facial balancing. Her healthcare journey began in 2015 as a critical care nurse, where she developed a strong clinical foundation while earning dual Bachelor’s degrees.
While working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic, Julie continued advancing her education and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
With a lifelong passion for art and beauty, she discovered her true niche in aesthetic medicine—where science meets artistry. Julie is recognized for her meticulous, holistic approach, creating results that enhance each patient’s natural features while preserving their individuality.
She is deeply committed to patient education, empowering her clients to make informed decisions and feel confident throughout their aesthetic journey. Through ongoing advanced training, Julie stays at the forefront of the industry, offering the latest techniques tailored to achieve balanced, effortless results.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and incorporating wellness into her lifestyle—including Pilates and dancing.

Steve Yoelin, M.D., is an ophthalmologist based in Orange County, CA, with over 25 years of experience in minimally invasive medical aesthetics, such as dermal fillers, collagen stimulators, neurotoxins, and fat reduction. He serves as a strategic advisor to companies ranging in size from innovative early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar industry leaders.
He also operates a private practice focusing on injectable medical aesthetics procedures and has a multi-year waitlist, which he has built exclusively from repeat visits and word-of-mouth referrals. He has trained other clinicians through 2,500+ industry-sponsored global training programs and hundreds of continuing medical education (CME) programs. He has also led dozens of clinical trials (Phases 1 – 4), investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and has authored or co-authored many peer-reviewed journal articles, posters, presentations, and a book chapter.
He has also been awarded several patents for his research. He has co-conducted dozens of fresh-frozen cadaver dissections over the past several years. He completed his ophthalmology residency at and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Irvine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture science and management, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Davis, where he was a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Because lasting results don’t come from treating areas in isolation. They come from truly understanding the face they belong to.

My approach is guided by intention, precision, and a deep respect for your natural features — because the goal has never been to make you look like someone else. It’s to bring your features into their clearest, most confident expression. Refined, undetectable, and effortless — like you woke up that way.
